A walking lady and friend

I've been searching a long long time for this lady. The 1942 friend showed up ten feet away an hour later. Thirty-five hours hunting in May - Lots and lots of clad, some nice beach finds, and 6 Wheaties 1929 - 1949, Some relics - an early 1900 brass Navy anchor button, a WW2 good conduct medal clasp with a little ribbon still attached, some tokens. and a large pile of junk. Its been a fun month.
I love the payoff I got on the 26th. HH Don

but with a good tone. I was not using my meter so I cant say if it would have made 180. Switched to A/M and got a barely audible coin signal. With that matchup I always start digging. HH

just really deep?

I would think that a half even at 10 inches would give a pretty good report via the headphones unless there was iron nearby and other junk keeping it from reporting well.

Excellent find on the walking liberty! I found my one and only walking liberty last season and it was amazingly only 1 1/2 inches down. How deep was yours?
