Took the Land Star for a short couple hour walk in the park down the road today. Along with the usual pull tabs, bottle caps, aluminum, and other trash I Managed to drag out 50 pennies, and not a Wheatie in the bunch, 2 nickles, and 5 dimes as well as 2 rings. The one ring is just a cheap kids ring but the second one may have some value. I had it in with the trash to throw out and was showing the trash pile to the wife. She spotted it and asked "What is this". Women!!!!! Can spot a diamond ring in the middle of a pile of junk.
Anyway, it is completely surrounded by small diamonds and appears to be White Gold. Won't know for sure till i get it tested. And i thought it was a tarp grommet. Just goes to show. Us old farts need to put our reading glasses on before throwing stuff away so we can actually tell what it is. Here are a couple pics.
