Hey guys, it seems I will be taking a trip to Virginai at the end of the month to see the in-laws....yay me 
But the wife wants to go so here I am going....My question is this, I'll be in the Shawsville area of Virginia, possible Madison also depending on the travel plans once we arrive, is there anyone here that could give me some tips on where to hunt? It's a rather rural area so sort not much in the way of parks and such. Preferably I'd like to find a Civil War site, being from Jersey, there were no Civil War battles fought in Jersey so this is one of the few chances I will get to hunt CW relics and THAT is a reason to be excited about the trip if you ask me. Only going to be there for about 3-4 days so it wont leave me much time to research once I'm there. Hoping to have some areas worth checking before I get there but the internet searches as of yet have been less then spectacular. Thanks in advance for any insight you can impart
