Fri. I sat around the house all day and did nothing until about 6 in the evening and that's when I said to myself that I got to do something today. So I grabbed the MD'er and went to a park not too far from here. This park is loaded with rusty bottle caps and pull tabs and I mean LOADED. If ML ever comes out with a 6" DD 7.5 or a 3 kHz coil I'll buy it and the first place I'll use it well be at this park. Anyhow, I was there for about 1 1/2 hrs before it got dark and I found a 54d rosie and a wheat in the same hole. Not too far from that find I got a solid #33 and I hate solid #33 because 99% of the time it turns out to be trash and this time it was trash. It was a piece of #9 copper wire bent in to a U shape. I recheck the hole and I get a nice dime tone off to the side of the hole. I cut another plug off too the side and pull out the plug and there she was looking up at me, a nice 1928d Merc. That puts me up to 105 silver coins for the year. shortly after that it was getting dark and the mosquito's were eating me a live so I called it a day with some nice keepers.
I was using the X-505 with the 10.5 DD 7.5 coil, GB at 38 and sen at 18. the coins were around 5" deep.
