A variety of keepers...

Went on another "night hunt" last night, to my "old standby" spot. I managed a good variety of keepers -- along with two wheat cents ('27-D and '2:geek: and about three bucks in clad, I managed these keepers...

The Merc is a '29-S, the War nickel is a '44-P, the Buff is a '27, and the ring is, I think, silver (can't read the stamped markings on the inside, but I'm thinking it is).

Since the Buff is my first, and especially since I could make out the year on it, I was pretty excited about it; here's a shot of the reverse:

Thanks for looking!

Nice digs Steve ... good to see you posting finds for a change.

Way to go Steve those are some nice digs. Have not done a night hunt in ages.
It is always nice to get a date Buffalo that puts a smile on your face for sure.

That ring is sweet. I like the solid link design.

Thanks much everyone!

MikeO -- I sure did hope that when I finally scored a Buff, it would have a readable date...I got lucky!

Great Republic -- that's funny that you had the same ring (silver, I assume?) I was guessing based on the depth and location that it was about 30 years old...based on yours, I guess I was close.

McDave -- thanks; I decided I wouldn't keep posting every decent find, but just the better-than-average ones. I'm up to 48 silvers for the year, but with most of them lately being a Rosie here, a Merc there, I haven't seen the need to post every one of them... :) It was nice to have an above-average hunt for a change...

48 ? Holy Shrimp !! At that rate you will double your silver count compared to last year ... congrats !
