A TWO SILVER DAY !

The XLT did a very fine job today. Found a 26 Merc & a 54 Rosie plus some clad.The ground was quite trashy. Dug a good handfuI of iffy targets that was trash, small pieces of soda cans. I used Fox's coin program, it did GREAT! I'm thinking, if I had the 8" coil, I might of did even better?

looks like a good day to me.

[size=large]if you have the 950 coil only then fer sure you'd do better with the 8". even the 5.3 will surprize you.

Congrat on the silver :twodetecting::whites::clapping:

The thin-profile 8" coil, such as the ProScan 800 or Royal 800 (I like the latter) will work virtually like the 950. They might pick some things a little better in moderate trash, but their strength, for me, is that they just balance better and feel more comfortable. I save my 950 for working the beach (1 or 2 times a year) or maybe a plowed field.

Most of the time I mount up a 6

5.3 all the way...It will pull those ones out from the trash...
Silver is good...
