A Two Ring Day

Was detecting along the water line with no luck so I decided to try the wash out left from high tide. A gentleman asked me what was some of my best finds. I told him gold and siiver jewelery but no platinum yet. My very next hit was this Palladium 950 ring. I thought that it was Plat 950 at first glance but it is still all good. I found it in the same wash out area that I found the gold cross last weekend. Shortly afterward, a man came up to me and ask if I could find his gold wedding band. I went to the location that he thought he lost and started searching for it. The area was full of pull tabs so I notched them out. About 45 minutes later I got a broken signal like a notched out pull tab. I started not to dig but occasionally I dig to confirm that it is a pull tab. This time it was this 14kt band but not the one he was looking for. What a lesson well learned no more notching pull tabs.. We kept searching for a while but we could't find it so it is still out there somewhere if no one else found it. I think that I will hunt the dry sand more often. Will post pics later camera battery died.

Lots of people mean lots of new drops in the towel line. Dry sand at high tide is the way to go. Congrats on the rings. Two in one day is impressive.
