A trip to Saint Augustine Beach today, could have stayed in bed.

Thought I would take a trip from Jacksonville to Saint Augustine beach to check out conditions there. On the beach 3 hours before low tide and attacked the water, knee to waist deep for 3.5 hours.. Combed the wet sand and also swept 5 volley ball courts with the mxt after using the sea hunter in the wet. Results for the day... 12 cents! This beach is devoid of metallic life in any form. Oh.. but did find 5 bobby pins! If was nice to hunt a new beach, but beeps were far and few between. Even dug the double beeps just to have something to do. Got my exercise for the day. Just had to let it all out in this text. Ever have a day like that?? You find yourself appreciating even the junk jewelry of recent times past in your scoop. Maybe need to move to the Caribbean. EZ

Ugh, brutal. Yeah, days like that when a 1996 quarter gives you a 2nd wind. Been there.

got to the beach at 5:55am, fired up the Sea Hunter and started hunting. 3 hours later I've got 75 cents to 2 junk earrings, those days to get you once in a while. But I still enjoyed it. HH

Sad but true hunters.

Went to jax beach and found on first target a nice mary j pipe (got rid of the pipe for obvious reasons)
Later a pair of $65 Arnami exchange sunglasses, a cz stud earring, some junk jewelry, and a few coins. A better hunt than the last one I posted. EZ
