A trip gone awry and sunflowers..

On the weekend I headed up to Hayward,Wisconsin, to see the National Lumberjack Finals. Plans got mixed around and I arrived later than anticipated and events were sold out... So instead of lumberjack event photos, I ended up shooting some photos in a huge sunflower field.

I've knocked this one way back file size-wise but it's still 1280 x 1024.. Makes a great background.. Click on it and it will open full sized.. Feel free to download it and use it for a background if you like!

Sorry to hear about the mix up in plans. Would have been some good photo opportunities in the lumberjack events I bet.

Nice to see that (photo wise at least) your trip wasn't a loss and you found some good shots. Thx for offering your pic to us.
