A tip for a more comfortable arm strap.

My XLT's arm strap has a rough surface, a manufacturing defect apparently, which irritated my arm.

I bought a headband and cut it to length. I attached the strap's looped end only to the arm cuff, I worked the headband onto the hooked end, then attached the hooked end to the cuff.

The soft terry cloth of the headband is very comfortable on my arm and moisture absorbent too. Headbands come in different colors and can be bought at sporting good stores and department stores. I bought this one at The Sports Authority and chose the black color because it matches the XLT. They also had them in red/white/blue, which would be attractive and patriotic, white and several other colors including some with collegiate and professional team insignia.

I don't believe a armband would work because they have a smaller circumference and are too wide.

I just thought I would share the tip. I hope it helps someone.
