You guys have more history we get summer sooner hummm I think its fare in some ways. I hope you like the pic. Its from my garden.

Fab shot there RB, and as Ex-Sox asked, "What camera etc?".

I carry a cheap Canon A470 in my finds pouch. Does the job if there's enough light. I try to avoid flash

because of 'flattening' of high-lights, or false colours. Good shots without flash, and taken in haste, are a hit and miss affair for me.

I guess I'm not very good at the 'close ups'......but what the heck.....it's all good fun.

Trouble is, if your hands are grimy then it's a bit of a struggle keeping grit off the moving parts.

I really enjoy reviewing a days detecting if I've managed to get sufficient pictures.

My main aim is to take picture proof of any decent find, 'in situ'.

Before I close I must say how I enjoy your posts.....keep 'em coming.

2235 hours here in the UK, and I imagine your president in London will be off to bed, readying for another day of negotiating etc.

Nice guy you've got there.....hope they can sought things out.

Enjoy the rest of the evening.............TheMarshall.

I was just using a Kodak c340 Nothing great really. I worked hard for that pic. That honey bee didnt want to stay still long. Thats the best pic iv ever taken. I usually just use my phone when im out hunting but lately iv been trying to carry the good cam with me but I still use my phone cause i forget i have the other.

The bee pic was my practice day and I wanted to remember what my mustard greens looked like before i tilled them in to get ready for the summer crop

MMMMM mustard greens. Its hard to find those up here in Northwest Indiana. I dont think they know what they are here. LOL TMAN...

Yea i was wondering if they had those up there. I have an uncle that lives up there and when he comes down he wants that southern home cooking With all the classics.

Shoot RB, they dont even know what chicken fried steak is. LOL. And dont even think about cream gravy, I was at a restaurant and they brought out some orange stuff they said was gravy. It was rough to say the least. TMAN...

Thats funny. Thats like northern Oklahoma and Mexican food. I asked at 2 different restaurants for a taco salad and they both gave me chips with hamburger meat and Catalina dressing and that was it. Well Im glad im not eating yellow or orange gravy :poke:. Hey they still have better places to hunt with more history than us so dang maybe bad gravy is worth some 1700's coins.
