a target of 80

I was able to play a bit in my yard tonight with the ATP that came yesterday before the rain came (YEAAAA!!!). I put the machine in custom pro mode and disc'd out everything below 70. The 2 targets I dug had a high tone with a VDI between 79-81. One target looked like a 20th century belt buckle and the other target a sheet of metal about 3 x 3. I have sneaky suspicion the buckle might be brass and the sheet of metal might be a piece of old copper flashing or something. I have looked around and cant seem to find an answer. I am sure the sheet would be copper if it fell into that range. Could i be right thinking brass would be in that number range and both metals create a high tone? I know some would say it doesnt matter, if the number is that high dig, but would like to know for future reference just so I know what I might be digging up.

Thanks
Denis

It is best to run in Pro Zero, Zero Iron DISC, Iron Audio ON,and let your ears be your guide...Dig EVERYTHING 45 and above that gives a solid signal...Gonna dig a lot of trash, but your ot gonna miss the jewelry and rings either...

HH,

Gopher I still prefer Pro mode, zero discrim and iron audio OFF to hear the low growls of iron, etc. Switching it on and off just wears out the button faster.
