It was cold out this morning and there was a light frost on the grass at the park which made it an ideal time to pace off an area I've not had much luck in. You can see exactly where you've been with your coil so you don't miss any ground and you don't go over the same ground twice. I was hoping for just two more silvers before the weather turns. The "47 was my fiftieth silver coin from the park this year, the "58 was my sixtieth silver coin from the park total. It also put me at 67 for the year which is half of my total silver coin count, and there were no gimmies this year, I dug every one of them. I was heading back to my car and got a very faint signal, it was choppy and disappeared at any other angle but it sounded so sweet and I was feeling lucky so I started digging. The "46 was every bit of 10 inches deep, the deepest silver coin I've ever dug. I was shocked to see that it was a roosie, I was expecting a merc or maybe even a Barber and there is no fill in this area. It's been an incredible year for me and I will probably never see another one like it.
