I went back to the spot where I dug the Conn. Copper last week. This time I dug a semi-key date Indian Head penny (1864"L") along with this foreign coin. I need help IDing the foreign coin!!! It's a 1940?????? Also found part of some nice pottery, an old hatchet head and a spring head for the foundation. A T PRO ROCKS!!!!!

wow Joe you must be hunting a great spot. Nice finds!!!

You found a little bit of everything! What's the VDI on the pottery?

Thanks John,
The only thing is I left the hatchet in the woods. I didn't feel like carrying it around all day. I all so found an AX head there too( left that in the woods too!!)

When I was stationed in Germany in the Army, we used to always carry a Pfennig in our pockets. If you were in the Company bar (any bar), and another Soldier called a Pfennig check, the guy who did not have one paid for the rounds...Could get VERY expensive in a crowded bar...The exchange was 2.5 to 1 back in 1986, but it was still expensive...
Germany...The only place you can buy a 4 year old 318i BMW for $3000 American...about $7000 German...
Mine was dual carbed, and the linkage was always coming undone and the car would flat out die on the road...Had to pull over and tighten it up...

HH,
