Was on my way home and what did I see! Sidewalks by some old buildings torn out! SCREEEEEECH! Put it in park and get out the machine! :)

Must have been about 200 feet by 10 feet wide.
Here is my take!

Another nice merc! 1920D, two wheats 1911, and 1910. Five bullets in one hole, directly across from the old police station. The rifle casing was over there too. An interesting dog head, and another crotal bell to add to my collection!

Don't ever let these windows of opportunity close on you!

Nice finds for a short hunt, And the dime is in very good condition. By the way did you get the pics I sent you a while ago.

once an opportunity is missed it usually doesn't present itself a second time. Great finds.

Cool digs too!

I haven't been out much at all in the last month or so, but one day I went by a local park and found some digging had been going on. They dug up a narrow section of the grassy part between the street and the sidewalk. Only about 2' or so wide but I gave it a shot. Did manage a wheatie and some clad but there were LOTS of crushed soda cans, junk and iron.

I drove by that area the other night and it looks like they must have dug up the street too as it's all newly paved. Oh well.
