A summer whith the compadre- how i like it

this summer i used the compadre as my only machine I started out two years ago whith a m-6 and then went to a cibola then to a silver umax and finally to a compadre kinda backwards the whites m-6 is a great machine it was just to heavy for me i regreat selling the cibola as it was great at being turned down and could be turned way up and get good depth i loved the 8x9 coil best coil ive ever used have missed it ever since the silver was good but i hated the 8" coil but now i wish i would have just waited to buy another coil now the compadre is a great detector ive found more old coins and jewlry whith it than all the others combined it is really a great detector it will air test a dime at 5" and find one in the ground at 3.5" to 4" the 5.75 coil is great at pinponting so much so i got rid of my pinponter and its so lite for the first time now im not going to get rid of it its great for parks and getting close to metal poles and you canreally tell how deep somthing is by the intensity of the sound its a great top of the line machine but you cant cover alot of ground whith it thats why im looking at geting a cibola or vaqero whith a 6x10 or 3x18 i would highly recomed it as a trash picker park machine happy holow days Gunnar

Hope you find a good price on a Cibola or Vaquero. Used units seem to be going for less in the on-line auctions now than they did last year.

Nice post Gunnar,

Tha Compadre does have it's limitations, but it
also has an uncanty ability to find good targets.

That's why I don't want to be without one.

Thanks for tha input,

Tabdog
