a STRANGE happening yesterday.........

..After church,I took a M/C ride to enjoy the weather.I have a Dual-Purpose M/C;which means it is at home on the highway as well as dirt/gravel roads,trails,etc............I was on my way home yesterday after visiting my sister's place on a gravel road,when I came over a hill and seen about 1/4 of a mile in front of me was a pickup truck facing me parked in the ROAD..............When I got close to the truck(less than 100 feet),a man came out from behind the back of the truck WITH A HUNTING RIFLE IN HIS HANDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!AND I GOT SCARED...........I went around on the right side;he just nodded at me,and looked off into the field beside the road-AND I didnt waste any time makin myself scarce!!!!!I WAS NOT about to stop and have a chat with him regarding the legal issues of the event-A couple miles down the road;I thought about gettin my phone out and calling 911,but all I was concerned with was"BEATING A HASTY RETREAT"...................... :sad:

on the side of the road? Could have been a turkey hunter. he would have been in camo.
Also could have been a poacher who seen a critter in a field and stopped to shoot it till you came along?

Better safe than sorry....but the man was most likely a hunter but ya never know as sinful and kooky people are these days! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty
