A Spin down the lane and i there are toes everywhere - no G

took off from work after lunch and hit the lane around 1pm, low tide is 90min. away and the beach is super wide - (damp sand area)

i snag a bent up toe ring right off the bat, maybe another august day..............not to be..........

it was a nice day to be in the lane............

i do not normally talk detector brands, but being a guy who has never owned any other kind but minelab, (i did own eric foster p i for 2 months once) - i was amazed by the real small pieces of stuff the sovereign could find and the exp II the same...........today i found two very small tickets and both were two scoops deep, but sounded like one inch deep.............maybe fishers and whites will do the same, i do not know, but i am still impressed by this brand.

here is the spin down the lane - 4hours

First, your finds are always good...

Second, I dug this small 925 item in Ocean City with the Excal 1000. It was also 2 scoops and it blew my drums out. It took forever to find it!

The dime is a reference but it came from there too...

or would that be a pile washing out of the beach. Nice day, nice pics nice toes and it was especially nice cuz you wuddin' at work like I was. Thinking of being out there with me pirate friends.

is that 99% of the time it washes right out of our scoops and back to the lane, then we have to redig it up................but the great sound it produces causes us to dig it

i like it

For me, and anyone else's opinion on this would be great, when in the wet sand I will take low tone finds to the dry or damp area and spread it out so I can pin point it. With high tone finds, I've been using the waves to clean out the scoop. It seems high tone finds are allways larger and not able to fall through the scoop holes.

That method was used for this target. It fell out of the scoop on the dry sand and then I used "fist pulls" to get it. Good thing I wasn't in the water.

EDIT: By the way, that target will not read during an "Air Test".

Huntress zipties galvanized wire screen into my scoop and the little targets do not fall through. In my opinion the holes in scoops are just too large and the little goodies can just fall through. There is more restriction of sand washing out quickly, but the tiny stuff stays in the scoop. Try it out sometime.

how many diamonds studs are there out there and how many wear them in the water..............i feel we are lucky finding all the rings, etc

maybe it is like the P I i had for two months............great machine, but it found every little hook, wire, u name it, cost me 2hours each spin.............digging all that junk. my normal 3 hours hunt became 5..............did i gain anything - two things

sore arm and extra pouch for junk..........

if i miss a meager stud or small whatever............so be it
