A small waterfall in the woods

I chose not to use a long exposure on this one to make the water 'silky' like is usually done. I wanted to see the splashing water more clearly. 1/800th of a second I believe.

Dave, I love the water splashing. Do you know the reason why the damn was built?

You guys are killing me with all the great nature shots as I look around at empty fields where corn and beans were once planted. :sadwalk: Believe me, I am thankful for all the beautiful scenic pictures. Thank you!

Thanks Nancy! No I don't know why it was built. I wish more would post on this forum...I'd like to see some of those fields you mention!

Next week will be a good time to get out with 40 plus degrees in the forecast. :clapping: I'll see if I can capture some of empty fields.
