A small town in South Texas............

While I am still learning about digital photography, I took this picture with a Canon A720 IS point and shoot camera. I messed around with the picture using a simple photo program that my son installed on my computer. Please have a great day! Kelley (Texas) :)

I am not very educated yet in photogaphy, still learning. I just took one of the photos that I had taken recently while riding some back roads here in South Texas and played around with it using a simple photo shop type computer program. Here is another photo of an old school in another South Texas town. I messed with it just a tab...I sharpened it just a little bit, resized it, and used the sepia provision. Please have a great day! Kelley (Texas) :)

This old church was built around 1912 near the old community known as Comal Town north of San Antonio. It has no running water, or indoor plumbing. There is a hand powered water pump out back as well as an outhouse.

I need to learn how to remove the electric wires from this photo...my next project. Please have a great day! Kelley (Texas) :)

Nice pic ... have you done any metal detecting around the old church?

Sure would like to visit it with my Explorer (and camera). ;)

I was told that some of the local folks still use that church for weddings and funerals...there is a large cemetary across the road just south of the old church. That old church is fascinating and I am trying to get some history about it at this time. Please have a great day! Kelley (Texas) :)
