A silver badge pin and a chinese coin....:minelab:

Had the day off monday met up with with my buddy ED. back at the same park in a diffrent area after about to hours of searching we ended up with about five wheats each so we moved to a near by spot we pounded to death in the past...Also i get a nice quarter signal dig a plug about seven inches down a WWII US army badge pin the attachment bar is missing could be for rifle marksmenship the chinese coin looks like someone took a hammer to it, but would like to no how old it is, i have to do some rearch...

Chinese were used to build railroads so are found in U.S. from time to time. Your coin dealer will have a book on how to tell the age which gets complicated and one of my oldest coins was from the mid 17th hundreds but unfortunately worth very little even in good shape...Going back to my army days believe that is a sharpshooters badge if I remember correctly...

the coin looks like jap..ive got one that looks very much like yours 1908 pretty cool finds:clapping:

Hi - Nice finds.
The coin is from Japan. It's a 1 Sen piece from during Emperor Taisho's rule. The coin reads Year 10 of his rule, which makes it from 1921.
