A short vid on how to tell if it's silver

Here's a vid I made that describes how I can tell the difference between silver coins and non-silver coins. This works for me. I have included my setting as well. Please keep in mind that my ground might be very different from your ground and that the settings might have to be tailored to best suit your conditions. Thanks for watching!

Yeah clad quarters can do that. They usually hit 13:46 on mine if theyre silver. I've found that the bigger the target the more likely it will have a higher TID. Getting a feel for how broad the signal is should help decipher the difference between bigger targets and smaller targets.

Thanks Doc. I subscribed to your channel. Hoping to do my first real extended detecting over Memorial Day weekend. Burned yesterday getting my garden in.

Thanks guys. I honestly didn't start noticing it until I was editing videos and then I decided to give it a shot in the field. Seems o be working so far.

Hey Doc
Another nice video, thanks. However, I feel that you only showed us one side of the story though. Having a comparison between the silver and other would help to better show your point.

Keep up the work, your videos are very top notch and very enjoyable viewing.

Sir digs- thanks for the input. I was actually going to do that but I decided to keep this vid super short to try and keep the attention of the ADD crowd. I'm finding out unfortunately that around 50% of my viewers stop watching about half way through. Plus my wife was nagging at me to spend more time with the family

No Worries Doc,
It's a fine video and I'm sure it will be helpful to many.
Keep it up. I'm always waiting for that next video of yours. Thanks

It's very handy information, I never noticed it myself. This weekend I was watching from videos on the CTX3030 by Dirtfishing and he was getting the opposite effect on his silver dimes. His TDI would jump from 12:45 to 11:45 and it was a silver each time. I'd say it depends on your ground and the mode your hunting in, I think he hunts in 2 tone ferrous.
