A short hunt today

The weather was nice this afternoon and I was hurting too bad today so I decided to take the Nox 800 out for a little while. I mostly cherry picked since I wasn't sure how long I'd be able to detect. I ended up finding a worn 1906 O Barber Dime, a 1914 & 1945 wheaties and a Mississippi tax token along with the clad a quarter,2 dimes and 4 memorial cents. I'll go back and search the area again when I'm able.
The Nox was a little chatty in spots due to power lines. It also got chatty a few times when I used my Pro-Find 35. When I get to go back I'm going back to the old firmware to see if the 800 will be quieter

Nice barber pan4au. Don't forget to noise cancel, its odd to get chatter from the probe unless its in close proximity to the coil.
good luck and HH

Noise canceled several times.. no help. I've never had a problem while using the Pro-Find 35.. It may be the upgrade. I've heard others have had some issues

Nice going, Pan4au! Suprised you're having trouble with noise. Mine is quieter both in the park and at the beach.......not enough hours on the revision to decide if I like it or not. Should be cooling off enough soon to get more hours in.
