Had to urge to dig some holes, so ran up the road to an old one room school house that the grass had been cut at. Unfortunately, even though the grass is cut, it is still about 4-5 inches. Have managed about 30 wheaties from here so far and today managed to finaly pull a silver out. The nickel is 1935, the Merc is 1940. The wheaties are 40's & 50's. Have yet to find anything real old, but it is a nice go to place that is close by. Won't be long and back to hunting the fields.

I have only found one of those nickels and I could not read the date on it.
