A shooting at dad's hospital this afternoon!!

Dad checked in this morning around 9 to begin his second round of chemo. This afternoon a shooter opened fire killing one person and inurying 2 others before turning the gun on himself. My youngest brothers office overlooks I-40 and the exit ramp to Cedar Bluff towards the hospital. He said they counted at least 40 emergency vehicles of all types racing by at speeds they had never seen before. When he found out what happened he immediately called mom to check on them and they were oblivous to what was going on. Swat teams locked the hospital down until they determined that the lone dead male was the shooter. The story is here:

Please keep the shooting victims and their families in your prayers.

Thanks,

Doug

Praise God and Thank You, Jesus, for keeping Doug's dad safe and please be with the families of those who were wounded and killed! Give them Your healing virtue and Your comfort and peace to endure and overcome the trials they are going through at this time of unrest in their lives! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty
