A setting I used last night seems to work very well

Last night I was detecting a local park that is full of nails and other iron debris. I normally use IM -15/conductive. Last night I went into the menu hit "settings" and then "clear" and then de-selected just nails. That left me with an open screen like IM -16 but with the upper left corner covered. I found three wheaties and a gold plated wedding band that all came in on the left side where they would have been "masked". They all sounded pretty decent - repeated fairly nicely. Any one else everf sedt their machines like this? What kind of success did you have?

Don't understand your new setting, when you select Settings Option you go into user A, or user B. A iron mask -16 will open the upper left side and if you X out nails it will blacken the upper left. Can you elaborate more on your settings?

with both nails and bottlecaps deselected in a SMARTFIND screen
or
-16 in an IRONMASK SCREEN
both with CONDUCT.
It's just great that there is such a versality of settings selection on the Explorer that will suit many different sites and soil conditions.
