A semi key kinda day x3

Went out with Pickhead yesterday for his birthday hunt and we both walked away with some keepers. My take for the day: 1911s, 1914s and a few other wheats, a 1920s buff, silver & turquoise ring and an ancient Avon lipstick sample... Oh and a gold plated pin/broach thingy. Had fun. It was hot out. Must have tried 6 places all together. Just having trouble getting a good spot yesterday. But hey... It worked out.

Congrats, nice finds! That buff looks good! I found a similar ring last year, very similar, now I got o go look at it and see if its the same one! Coincidentally I was hunting with mtwolf2270 that day and he found a little sampler lipstick tube that same day as well! Small world. We have a video of that hunt on our youtube page, check it out sometime to see the ring and lipstick tube. Congrats again!

Congrats tones wtg nice haul, I found a 1911s in Jan of this year. If that is the same lipstick it was a vintage 1930's sampler

Small world indeed. I do have most of it on video but it wasn't a stellar hunt so I'm putting it in the archive for a winter reel. I'll have to check out your vid of the ring and lipstick.

Glad someone is able to hunt nice finds tones the ground is so hard here you would need a jack hammer as no rain in weeks. Maybe its time to head to the water?

Hey Tones, here's the ring I found!

Pretty similar indeed!
