A ring a ding ding ring day...

Today I had to take the day off because my son didn't attended school and i didn't had a babysitter on hand... well better make the best of it and go detecting ! What a nice day it was. Plenty of sunshine and nobody at the beaches to bother me! My son enjoyed the day as well.

First stop wasn't too successfull... a couple of bucks in change and maybe a silver ring. Second stop was filled with dimes and quarters and fortunatly yielded two gold rings. A nice chunky 14K and an unstamped one i'm pretty sure it's only 10K beacuse it turned greenish like it often does.

Had a fast meal and did a last one that only provided more coins and a big silver chain. The chain is a bit bigger than the one on the picture. I only put that chain because the other one went flying away in the garage when i tryed to polish it on the cotton wheel... i'll find it sooner or later :(

Total of the day : 12 rings! Dont see that often! Well one of the rings is broken in two... let's say 11 and 1/2 rings !

Oh, the large "silver" ring puzzle me a bit. It's stamped something like 999 Magog or Magik... very hard to read. I'll try to take a picture later (I'm exausted!). I assumed it's silver because it was a bit greyish and polished like silver. The red paste on the ring is coming from the "rouge" i'm using on the cotton wheel. I gotta buy an ultrasonic cleaner!
