A RICH, STRONG LIFE....In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials....1 Peter 1:6.

coffee, the more intense the flavor. It stands to reason that for a rich, strong life, we are going to have to go through the fire. This "roasting" can deepen our walk. The finer the grind of the beans, the more concecrated the coffee. First Peter 1:3 tells us that in His great mercy, God has given us new birth into a "living hope", through Jesus. That's the identity we now have. We are children of God, and our hope is alive. "In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have to suffer grief in all kinds of trials." These trials have come, the Scripture says, "so that your faith.....of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire.....may be proved genuine" (1 Pet. 1:6-7, NIV). This genuine, refined by fire, holding-on-for-dear-life faith will result in praise and glory to Christ.

(Remember the sun shines and it rains upon everyone....it is how we face and overcome the trials in life that shows others whether we truly have faith or not! May our faith in Jesus be made stronger and stronger for overcoming all things with Him as our Savior and Lord!)

God Bless!
Betty
