...When we got them heavy rains the other nite;where I live there is a big holding pond the storm water drains into-WELL;it filled up-and BACKED up....there was 4'of water in the road in front of my house-it was REALLY close as to whether I was gonna have a enclosed swimming-pool in my house the hard way...GOOD NEWS!!!-The water has receded;never made it to my house;although it did move my wife's flower beds around a little-THANK THE LORD!!!On the other side of town;2 houses filled up with water in their basements;the basement walls collapsed-I am asking everyone to pray a thanks for mine and my wife's deliverance from the flood;and for a good outcome for all who received losses...

our home is over 100 feet above the lake and we live on a sand hill so drainage is great.

Praise God you didn't have to call DNR to stock an inside lake.

you could have water hunted at your own house anytime! I'm glad you can't!

We are back to normal,now.....I was cleaning up Saturday after the water retreated;and backed up right into a WASP NEST!!!:stretcher::(4 or 5 stings-on my leg,and elbow....felt just like a red-hot poker sticking me....THATS ALL RIGHT:The people that had their basements flooded lost EVERYTHING in them-they were finished, and lived in them...One of them lost their basement walls,too...A woman that lives down the street had her car towed to the garage today...She was driving thru almost waist-deep water when we had all that rain, and her car quit in it...she has a small ford Focus...We lost a pepper plant;and a few flowers...Thanks for all the prayers!!
