A Quiet And Lovely Night In The Lane...Gold And Silver Too!

I hit the beach at midnight for a 4 hour hunt around the 2:20 low tide. Ended up swinging until 5 AM. I saw a few other hunters in the lane, all dilligently working and looking for the bling and dutifully filling their holes.

Things are loosening up down there...it's not sanded in as bad and the sand is moving. I found several areas where there was older and deeper clad that had been there for a while, most very deep. And what kept me going longer than I planned was that once I hit a nice area with a lot of quarters and nickels, the Jerusalem charm came up and then the unmistakable beautiful low growl of 14K in my Excal headphones. I tried for a while to make the double-play but that was the last non-coin target of the night. I need to make this post and get my butt to bed for a few hours because it's all I can do to stay awake right now.

The nut, incluing 15 quarters, 12 dimes, 9 nickels, and some bubbly pennies. There was a key and a cheap hoop earring, not shown.
