A Quiet And Lovely Night In The Lane...Gold And Silver Too!

I hit the beach at midnight for a 4 hour hunt around the 2:20 low tide. Ended up swinging until 5 AM. I saw a few other hunters in the lane, all dilligently working and looking for the bling and dutifully filling their holes. :)

Things are loosening up down there...it's not sanded in as bad and the sand is moving. I found several areas where there was older and deeper clad that had been there for a while, most very deep. And what kept me going longer than I planned was that once I hit a nice area with a lot of quarters and nickels, the Jerusalem charm came up and then the unmistakable beautiful low growl of 14K in my Excal headphones. I tried for a while to make the double-play but that was the last non-coin target of the night. I need to make this post and get my butt to bed for a few hours because it's all I can do to stay awake right now.

The nut, incluing 15 quarters, 12 dimes, 9 nickels, and some bubbly pennies. There was a key and a cheap hoop earring, not shown.
