A quick hunt at a new spot :drinking:

Helped a friend of mine at work move some stuff into his new place this past weekend, and over the course of a lengthy conversation, and a few cold beers, I was able to gain permission to hunt the property. I went back this evening after work , but only managed to get in about 45 minutes before dark. Amongst the clad was the usual junk, a few toy car parts, a frog charm, and an el cheapo digital watch that says nel sonic on the front of it probably from the 80`s or something. The property is close to a 1/2 an acre, but I only got to hunt a small portion of it today. I`m going back this next weekend when I have more time to hunt.

You made good time finding all those items & coins in 45 minutes. Hope you find some silver & gold on this property.

I think you found a property that's never been hunted. So was that the front yard or the back yard? How old is the house. If it's relatively new then there is a good chance there was a house there, before this house.

Just spit balling, but it seems like you found a good spot

Thanks guys! I had a couple of holes with multiple coins. One hole in particular had 3 quarters, 1 dime, and 4 pennies. I hunted one of the side yards and a small section of the backyard. I don`t know exactly when the house was built, but my guess is late 60`s early 70`s. I don`t think I will find any silver coins at this location, but you never know. The toys are a good sign though, hopefully the children who played there lost lots of lunch money and who knows what else out there as well!

Nice move getting the permission after helping. A couple of brews didn't hurt either. Hope you find some oldies there. Good luck!
