A quick headphones question

I'm hoping to get an ATP in the near future, mostly for river hunting. I'll be in shallow water, maybe 4 feet max. My question is about the stock headphones. I understand they're not waterproof, but is everything but the earpieces waterproof? Can I submerge all but the headpiece? Is the connection part sealed? I don't expect to go Jacques Cousteau, just want to be able to get most things wet.

You can submerge all but the headgear. I,ve been in the river and ocean up to my chest. Also have detected in rain, but not heavy rain.

The stock headset should serve you well in the river. I have accidently dunked mine twice with no ill effects. And the connector to the Pro is water proof.

Thanks, guys. It's good to know I won't need to buy the waterproof phones.
Maybe the $'ll go to the 4 X 6 that I hear so much about!
