A quick after work hunt...

I felt like I was back in time... hunting a school site that was not so pounded. I gained permission and found an Indian Head cent on the third pass through a small area. On the next pass 1838 large cent! Then I found about 5 wheat cents a buff and another large cent 1819! Probably the most productive two hour hunt I have done. I only covered maybe an eighth of the property so I will be back.

Sure would be great if I had the chance of finding that old of coins in my area. I can almost bet that there is going to be some nice Silver finds in that Schoolyard and who knows what else.
