A question not about detectors - What is the deepest you went for treasure???

Did you have to dive, or do you keep your feet on the sand? I'm just curious. I have seen a lot of "which detector should I buy" questions, so I figured I would ask a question that would allow you to brag about your finds!!! I'm looking forward to reading your answerers...:thumbup:

Like were you up to you waist or up to your shoulders in the water, or did you snorkel to find your treasure?

When we display finds and share experiences with all, that is a means of encouragement and a celebration of hard work.
Thanks, for your permission to brag.

Aww.... somebody have a bad day???

Ya know what......Dirt fishing is like water fishing.......and I never get sick of the fish stories, It was this BIG!
<------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------> I swear!

I didn't mean "brag" in a bad way, I should of said share your experiences. If you don't want to, you don't need to be negative. I'm sorry for the bad choice of words in my question.

I was just joking.......ribbing the topic.......I believe these folks on here to be honest and true.......I had a story a while ago, but it was taken as a grain of salt....and I am sure not believed by some........but who cares I know it was true...... so just read and enjoy.....believe it or not is about to happen...

Deepest finds were in 4.95 meters, netted estuarine swimming enclosure, using Scuba equipment. First rings are Gold:thumbup: then Stainless steel. Visibility at about 18".HH, regards Nugget.:detecting:

Stacey hit it very well...

I've dug deep a number of times.

It's always been a steady return on the investment, with a few mild surprises to keep it entertaining.

Never have been fortunate to get a big hit in there, but that doesn't keep me from trying!

MattLOCKman.......Heres the story behind my alias......a old time friend of mine got me into bottle digging and metal detecting, and he would bring with him this cool tool that worked great for digging bottle dumps....I of course had a stupid garden trowel that gave me blisters in the palm of my hand everytime...so I asked him where can I find one of those and what do you call it? He said he calls it a mattock.....but not sure what it is really called....but try a hardware store. So off I went and looked at all the stores locally....nothing.....I was not happy....but the next time we went to a new cellar hole in the woods I found this mattock near the hole......so from then on I was mattockman.....just something I held onto and when I joined the forums I decided that would be my name.....Stace?....Stacey!!!......Wake up!.....I know boring.....but if you read it...."NOW YOU KNOW THE REST OF THE STORY" :tongue:
