A question for the experts of old coinage at the beach

JASONSPAZ1

Here is my question.
On a yearly basis with average ocean tides, to a once in a while Nor Easter. Do the beaches get consistently replenished with old coins from the depths, or from coins exposed in the dry dunes and sand. Obviously, on dry land old coins are not getting replenished. But do you think that on any given day, on any given tide, for whatever reason. Coins and jewelry are being replenished?
I know it is a loaded question But I hope you get an idea of what I am asking.

Thanks in advance
Jason

after that last storm we found a spot that was full of silver coins from the dune cut and went 30+ ft towards the water. It was 40 yds long also..some coin sitting on top of sand. there was 20 people hitting this patch..with many getting 50+ silvers..some gold too..clad mixed in . where did it all come from?

While I've never had the luck to get to a salt water beach, everything I've read seems to point to searching for areas where the overlaying layers of sand have been removed. Whenever the hardpan layer gets exposed, or, when the dunes get eroded away, is where the old goodies are.

SUN I MAY TEST LAKE WATER...SEE IF I CAN STAND IT!! IF SO I'LL BE HITTING A FEW SPOTS NEXT WEEK..IF IT GETS ABOVE 70*. STILL GOT THAT OLD LAND SPOT TOO. CALL ME TODAY AFTER 3PM!!!
