A question for Andy on the discrimination range on the new X-70

Has the discrimination range been expanded on the upper range to help cope in areas of high mineralization and hotrocks? Thanks!

I assume you are talking about hot rocks and real bad ground coming up as "+48" on say the X-70 or "+45" on the X-50 . . . . Well, Minelab has done some things via the software where the signals that hit in that area are in most cases clipped or eliminated. The other thing that you can do if these signals come thru is to eliminate (reject) that upper-most notch.

Does this answer the question?
