A question about the F-75 in trashy areas.

How does it do in trashy park like areas for coin hunting? I have read it does a good job separating from iron but what about foil, pulltabs and things like that. Also,in discrimination, can you accept or reject individual VDI numbers or just groups of five ?

Thanks for any responses.

First, yes you can notch individual numbers.

Now, in trash it does very well. It will sound noisy unless you pump the discrimination way up and the Sensitivity down. But when it hits a good target the high coin sound will bang your head in.

I use 4H and disc at 10. It is noisy set up this way, but not unbearable. It does wear you down after an hour or so and so then I pump the Disc up to 65 and notch in nickels. I seem to find more without the later setup however.
