A Question About RNB & Minelab Battery Packs

I just had my factory Minelab battery charger shortout.
I understand that the Minelab charger is 9.6 V and the RNB charger is12.5 V.
Wanted to ask ... if I bought a RNB battery and charger - can I use the RNB charger on my Minelab battery pack or would the voltage difference be a problem ?
