Picked up a ring and a Special Olympics disk.
The ring was dirty like the clad. It wasn't silver as far as I could tell.
No stamp on the inside. It first rang up as a nickel then Aluminium.
Once I got it back home I tossed it in with the clad into my tumbler.
Running my coil over it it NOW registers between .10 .25 and .50 cents.
It just bounces back and forth between the three.
The disk does the same thing. At first when I dug it up it registered
as .10 but now it bounces between .10 .25 and .50 but it looks
like a giant zinc penny.
Anyone have a guess as to what metals these two things are made of?
