[size=large]I started out with my two-finger, slow keyboarding report on the 6T. It ended up being a 3-part post because it was too long.

Okay, if you're interested in the new Prizm 6T I can tell you that it is a good detector. It is well balanced and the controls are positioned for quick access and adjustment at a thumb's reach.
The stock 9" spider coil is good, and does well in open areas w/o a lot of targets. A smaller coil is needed and a couple are in the works. That is great news.
The Display provides a lot of information to include coin depth and a Target ID segment or notch reference, and the Discriminate is governed by accepting or rejecting any of the nine (9) notch segments. If accepted, you will get an audio response and visual display. If you opt to reject a particular notch, you won't hear it and it will not display anything.
The Auto-Trac circuitry works similar to that of the MXT and M6 in that it is very fast, and the operator can 'Lock' or turn off the tracking update function and hold an established Ground Balance setting.
Depth of detection is decent, and will vary based upon the sensitivity level used and the ground mineral environment, as well as the operators operation of the 6T to include coil presentation and sweep speed.
The 6T has the same suggested retail as the M6, but it is different from the M6. Both are great detectors, but either might not appeal to everyone. Some will prefer the 6T over the M6 due to the additional audio tones. I like the nice one-handed operation.
More coils are needed, but I think the Prizm 6T is everything White's intended for it to be, and when compared with the rest of the Prizm series, it is definitely an advancement. Both in the way of features and adjustment functions, as well as response time. The 6T does respond quicker than the other Prizm model.
I like my 6T. It's not my main-use detector, but I like it for several reasons.
The best way to know one is to use one. Visit a local dealer and try one out.
