A prediction for 2017 from Garrett.

Garrett will release a vlf/pulse hybrid AT type machine in 2017.
And soon.
The other guys will follow as well.
And if "by chance" two different manufactures happened to have been working on a vlf/pulse hybrid. Garrett has been at the R&D longer.

Wish list:

All together in one detector:

... Dual frequency (to help stability in salt and mineralized ground),

... Numeric display (real numbers, not segmented groups),

... Imaging while pinpointing, showing both depth and size (like the GTI 2500).

There already are detectors that have two out of the three. How about all three features in one detector?

I'll be in the line to get one.

Well the gti 2500 is 20 yrs old this yr so it wouldn't be surprising if they replace it this yr.
