Awhile back, there was discucsion on how much metal you where while detecting, and if you detected NAKED if it would be better! Well Shep called me from RP today, he and his wife DONNA were out there detecting at the SAW TOOTH Range for a couple of days, when he first got thee he found one little nugget, sooo! Anyway his wife was running a minelab 18000, in nothing but tennis shoes, yep thats right, thats allshe had on, soo Shep says. But it did not do any good, no gold for her. It did not do anything except make Shep distracted, and then he did not get any more nugget either. They moved back over to RP, and will detect tomarrow, but I'm not sure if the detecting Necked part will be in the plan. OK SHEP heres your post, I wish I could have seen that, but knowing you! You would have blindfolded me!Grubstake
 
Leave it to Shep to put forward such a grand effort trying to put this raging controversy to rest.
What a guy...

I for one think Shep and his wife are on to something.
Some further research is, of course, needed.

Yep Flak, thats what he said when he called last night, to be sure and post it on DOC's forum. So that evetone can see it does not matter about a little metal on your body. Detecting necked does not gain you an advantage. HA! HA! Grubstake
 
Well that's what she told me whenI got back. Said she could see the dust of anyone coming near and could run back to camp. Knew I should of givin her a few more hands on one on one lessons, before turning her out on her own :)
 
Doesn't make no difference if you're naked or not, you got some metal horseshoe type contraceptive device shoved up inside you, you get no advantage to detecting naked.

Likewise with all you old guys and your titanium penile implants.

Wow that made my legs hurt just saying it.
