A plethora of levorites today

Windows are all washed as of 9 AM....tomorrow it's the kitchen cabinets

Two hour hunt at mid morning yielded more levorites ( love that term !)

Yesterday it was a policeman...today it's a fireman ...I'm on a roll! :smoke:

Here's a couple of pics

I think the large levorite is the remnant of a bell ..perhaps off one of those old "kiddie car " fire engines...maybe not.. It's missing the bell inside.

Wonder if it is made of lead? It has a good weight to it....I know it is not aluminum....anyone know what the metal might be?

No idea what that bell shaped thing is. could be a bell or a snuffer or a multitude of different thing-a-ma-bobs. Some of the stuff we find we just have to shake our heads in wonder at!!

In a river here 70' down right below these bridges

I found this:

It took almost 2 years to find out what it was. I thought it was a paperweight for an old wood schooner that sunk there. LOL how wrong I was!!

It is a god from the santaria religion. His name is osun. IF it ever falls over its a sign bad luck is coming your way. When you die it is thrown in the water. My wife demanded it get out of our house when she was alive!! I still laugh at that. So if anybody needs a god around the house let me know. I might find another one!!

Fishermen in the old days tied a heavy bell to a line and lowered it down. They shook it and shook it so it would ring and call the fish to dinner. The fish would come find worms and bait and the fishermen could then catch their limit!! YOU found a medium size one and it is quite rare. I would list it on E-Bay to help pay for your metal detecting adventures.

Lookin' good in the deep!..How did you get that car out? Did you fan it.....or was that another levorite?:rofl::smoke:
