A pleasant little surprise...but

Sunday hunt at an over worked park.
A nice little surprise laying on the ground; a damp dollar bill and then
I hit a silver ring .925 that had gone through a beating. Four quarters
made a nice little topping.

That said I wonder if there is something wrong with my Ace 250. Every
Reading that said it was .10 turned out to be a pull tab. I

[size=large]can't be much wrong with your ace. you found a neat little car.

Dime readings sometimes indicate large trash items. Was the signal still there after digging-or did you get a lit up iron segment after recovery? When I raise my sensitivity above 3-4 bars in some trash sites, I will get off readings like this. If you raise the coil and still get a loud signal , that's another giveaway. Has it gotten wet? Finally, how does it do in an air test?

That little Ace is a wonder!!

Is it a special mod or can you tell me how to adjust mine to find dollar bills?

I can usually tell if its a big trash item when I swing the coil over it. No signal in the ground after digging it.
I think the ground itself has something to do with it. When I was at the race track .10 usually was a dime or an older penny
and not a pull tab. It just seems strange that different ground can make such a big difference in target contact readings.
