A plea to fisher users.....

Got out with the excel yesterday in a horribly trashy spot that has been a bear to hunt with most machines, lots of iron. I came away with an eagle cuff button, illinois state sov button, a nice civil war token, some flatties and other misc. brass goodies. I'm suprised at all the talk about how bad fishers are with iron. Thinkin maybe we should keep letting people think that. That way we can pile up the good finds! Just starting to play with the c$ and so far i like what i see. I did dig a little iron, but almost each time i knew that it was more than likely iron but wanted to make sure. So, let's just keep this our little secret....hh

On my Excel & C$ hardly ever any trash or iron, unless i'm going for iron relics, all I gotta do is tap the push pad and i gottem:twodetecting::fisher::fisher::fisher::usmc:

BUt the folks who still say Fisher's love iron are people who have no clue about the newer Fisher's like the C$ & Excel. Maybe they tried a CZ-6 or 1266x like 15 years ago & dug a nail & that's where it all comes from.....
But like you said, yea it's a good secret to keep as it's quite fun to hunt a site the "other brands" supposedly "hunted out".......The Excel or C$ will find something there no problem ;)

I got my C$ just this year and I luv the darn thing - HH - Hawkeye Jim.
