These were found (XTERRA 705 W/ 10 IN DD COIL) YESTERDAY IN ONE FENCE POST HOLE. THIS IS NOW COUNTY PROPERTY 950+ ACH. AN IS BEING MADE A COMMUNITY PARK. A lot of fixing up going on here. My 705 was set at all metal sens @ 25. I think they took down some old barb wire fences and I hunted along the line.I will be back today to hunt the many barns on the property. I will keep you posted. (SILVER I HOPE)

WOW! That looks like a whole roll of Wheats.
Keep us posted on what else you find there. It sounds like a good site. Good luck!

WOW, now that's a cool find, a cache of wheat's. I hope their is more to be found at that place, good luck

Nice pile of wheats!!! Surely there is some silver there somewhere as well!! Thats exciting.....:detecting:!!

nice haul! IS that a Chinese coin there in the upper right-hand corner of the photo? How old is it?

Yes, I also was wondering about the Chinese coin. I always think of the journey those old Chinese coins took to get here! I have one that dates pre-1908.

Any 31S's or 09' VDB's in that cache? Nice haul, congrats!

Greg

All of these wheat Penney's are bad shape. must have been in the ground for many years in an old sock which was pretty rotted. Some D mint marks that's the best I can tell. I have them soaking will let you know.
