Decided to forgo the turf this morning and took the A T Pro with 11" coil into a patch of old woods. Over the years these grand old woods have given up many old and wonderful targets and it did so again this morning. Any time I can dig an Eagle button being more so an avid old coin hunter, I consider I've had a good outing. Today I was fortunate to have dug 2 of them. Both were within a few feet of each other and probably were lost at the same time. I was digging just about all beeps and if I remember correctly, these two hit in the mid to upper 40's. The oldest of the 2 wheats is a 1920. Everyone have a great weekend and dig some good ones. HH jim tn

Nice going Jim! Those are some good looking buttons. It was a gorgeous day today.:) I'm so wore out digging that I don't even feel like posting my finds.

More pics with a size comparison? They appear to be small buttons which could have been from a vest or a number of union uniforms that used them.

They are small. They can set on a dime and a little silver shows all around. My thoughts, shirt or vest. Thanks guys, off to see if there are more. HH jim tn
