Not much to be said about this short hunt. Had spent the better part of the day getting my wife's old Sable serviced and then like a good husband decided to wash and wax it. Just before I had finished we had a nice 15 minute shower and the temps dropped 10-12 degrees. Hence, when done grabbed the A T and headed out to a spot for a quick clad hunt. First two targets were wheat cents, a 39 and a 42. Shortly there after I dug another green cent and figured it was another wheat. But, it wasn't. It was a 59 Memorial. In between the wheats and some clad, I hit a screaming 82 reading and from 2" popped the lawn mower dinged 63d Rosie. A little bit later I got a funky 77-82 reading and from 4" and probably on edge, got another 63d Rosie. Dug a few more pieces of clad and cents and headed home a happy camper. HH jim tn

Yup! Nice silver!

You actually said a lot in here if a guy reads it carefully...

Want rain?, wash the car! Too bad that 59 wasnt a wheat!... a legendary coin "said" to exist and worth enough to buy your wife a new Sable and a Jumbo jet...'course then you'd need a ladder to wash and wax that thing!:lmfao: Another good detecting tip contained in your post...keep Mama happy at all costs, and let her see you do some work around the house from time to time!
Mud

You are right on all accounts Mr Mud. I figure I should be good to go now well into Aug. Yeah, right! HH jim tn

Finding silver in this dry ground and heat is just amazing! Jim I always like for you find good stuff, because it gets me pumped and out swinging.:detecting:

Another productive short hunt, Jim! You gotta stop biting those coins, though - y'all gonna break a tooth one of these days!

LOL....... Naaaaaaaaaaa they were yours. Wow you see those cars John Posted up..I had a vet body styled like that ( fastback) only it was Maroon...

Looked good, road like a truck...Ya felt every little bump rise, and fall. Hahahahahah. I won't talk about the hood options.........

Ah, man, John, those being back some memories. I had a 63 Buick Skylark convertible, yellow with a black top. Then the second and third of three boys came alone and the ole Skylark became a Mercury station wagon. Thanks for posting those. HH jim tn

Nice find on the silver and clad, Jim. One of those cars looks like a Ford Fairlane. My step-dad had one of those in 1964, 2 door and it was red. When he traded it in on another car in 1970, it had nearly 300,000 miles on it.

good and brief, twice good, congrats Jim :clapping:

As a European I am, there is nothing that bothers me more that you talk about your cars ... can not you see I'm dying of envy?

I like your cars, at home we have two Camaro, this is my mom with his ... well, well ... is your child's

That's a sweet Camaro, Senda! I miss my old '67, but they sure are light in back. Had to keep a few gold bars in the trunk for traction!

Yeah, that drag race you had on Popular back then, you blew the gold bars out of the trunk. Glad I found them. They are worth more today. HH jim tn
