I was out doing some errands and I called Larry if he would go talk to the local hospital about detecting some land of theirs. It use to be the Health Department and before that, it was a family home. He did and they gave him the OK. But one condition, "It's a one time only. Today only". Boy did we get our coils changed and fresh batteries and started detecting. Right off the bat I found a 64 Rosie. It went down hill from there. Junk and more junk. Few and far between signals and not much of anything deep. I didn't even come home with a wheat cent! Larry had found a tiny silver ring and on the inside it says STANDARD SILVER. We've never seen that before. It was getting to be my quitting time, so Larry took me home. He went back to see what he could find. He did great! Came home with a 36 Merc. and an 1864 Indian. He dug a lot of junk also and the 5 gallon buckets in the back of the truck are about full. Well, I got my silver fix for the day and I hope others were able to get out also.
Would you believe that the dirt was dry? We could use some rain. Poor families East and North of us.......they have too much water.
Thanks for your time, HH to all, Nancy
